Each year on their birthday I share some of the useful resources around stillbirth.
- Mama Mia, an Australian online magazine has had a few articles about stillbirth - Emma's story, Bec's story and Ten points I wish every person knew about the death of a child.
- Comedian Mary Coustax published All I Know: A Memoir of Love, Loss and Life. It included the sad story of her pregnancy loss. An article about her experience with IVF, loss and stillbirth was published in The Age on 22 June 2013 under the title The Children I've Never Known.
- I also stumbled across a few books with stories about stillbirth and pregnancy after loss: An Exact Replica of a Figment of My Imagination: A Memoir by Elizabeth McCracken, They were Still Born: Personal Stories about Stillbirth, Celebrating Pregnancy Again by Franchesca Cox, and Journeys: Stories of Pregnancy after Loss.
- I also found Kirrily's blog Sunny Side Up through a comment from her. The focus of the blog becomes clear when you read the subtitle "A mother's dance through the humbling gifts of grief, loss and recovery. She has a section featuring stories from other parents of their pregnancy loss.
Happy birthday Alex and Ian.
