I love bananas in sav...What a great history lesson! I love bananas in savoury food (almost anything actually) but I've noticed that it's not a very common preference. Sorry E wasn't so keen.<BR/><BR/>Calves foot jelly was a very common food for invalids in the past (think - if you can bear it - of the jelly that surrounds chicken giblets). It was soft and thought to be nourishing and easily digestible, especially since it was derived from meat.
