I've never been a big corn eater in the past but now that I live in a very multicultural quarter (meaning an abundancy of Middle Eastern food stores that sell a variety of seasonal produce) I've bought fresh corn on the cob a couple of times and cooked them and nibbled of the kernels. Yum! :D Unfortunately the season is over now, otherwise I could have made this with fresh corn. Now I can only buy tinned. :( The mint also sounds interesting, it's probably the herb I've gotten used to the least so far. I find it tricky to use with food and most often it ended up as tea. The hubby likes to make cucumber mint yoghurt though and pour that over lentils, because the mint is so fresh.Kath (My Funny Little Life)https://www.blogger.com/profile/10295143356577259844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-44899684949015013962012-10-26T14:28:51.158+11:002012-10-26T14:28:51.158+11:00Thanks Sophie - it is a perfect meal for spring be...Thanks Sophie - it is a perfect meal for spring because my mint is going crazy and this is a great way to use it - glad you enjoy this dish tooJohanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-11917960106715236252012-10-26T14:28:09.866+11:002012-10-26T14:28:09.866+11:00Thanks Kari - dancing and picnics are good for the...Thanks Kari - dancing and picnics are good for the soul - though it is easier to enjoy when I have more energy and the computer seems fine :-)Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-7495166896854885302012-10-26T14:27:11.742+11:002012-10-26T14:27:11.742+11:00Thanks Mel - I love corn - could eat it every day ...Thanks Mel - I love corn - could eat it every day so this was fantastic for me, and yes the picnic was funJohanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-52810299386617001642012-10-26T14:25:21.314+11:002012-10-26T14:25:21.314+11:00Thanks Nupur - Sylvia loves to have a dolly with h...Thanks Nupur - Sylvia loves to have a dolly with herJohanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-63072133193129318162012-10-25T03:01:17.936+11:002012-10-25T03:01:17.936+11:00I have made this several times too Johanna - it...I have made this several times too Johanna - it's a lovely little recipe and gives a great return for not a lot of effort (p.s enjoy your Spring - it's all autumn leaves over here in England)Sophiehttp://www.mostlyeating.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-46383446460408301672012-10-24T21:05:15.275+11:002012-10-24T21:05:15.275+11:00What a fun dinner Johanna - and a great brightenin...What a fun dinner Johanna - and a great brightening up of what could have been a tired, ho-hum evening!
