Our weather is similarly unprediactable at the moment, but it's snow we're getting rather than heatstroke. Lovely sounding dinner though - I'm particularly intrigued by the nuggets though they sound like hard work.

I hope you're managing ok with the heat and that it's getting more bearableLysyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13415024852684873909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-84876953070137659132009-02-02T14:06:00.000+11:002009-02-02T14:06:00.000+11:00thanks Kathryn - chopping always takes me some tim...thanks Kathryn - chopping always takes me some time - I am not the fastest chopper - although when I see how E chops vegies I feel like speedy gonzales! Apparently it's going to hit us, here in Sydney at the weekend, but I've convinced myself it's only going to be out west - not here closer to the City.

Thirty minute meals actually should be do-able. But I agree the chopping can take some time, and you have to include that in the time-promise.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-39068642917066449032009-02-01T17:51:00.000+11:002009-02-01T17:51:00.000+11:00thanks Holler - I don't usually look too closely a...thanks Holler - I don't usually look too closely at meal times but I think I was tired on a hot day after work and thought it would have been nice if dinner just took 30 minutes - but was very quick with leftovers the next day

thanks Catherine - it is a really tasty salad and great for hot weather - hope you enjoy - and hope the Big Day Out is a good one and the weather is kind to you

Thanks Ricki - 45 is unusual for Melbourne and I hope it will be a long time til I have to endure it again - unlike the delish salad which I hope to try again much sooner :-)Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-18162682923033871342009-02-01T16:40:00.000+11:002009-02-01T16:40:00.000+11:00That heat is truly remarkable (but not in a good w...That heat is truly remarkable (but not in a good way!). I can't even imagine 45C--people begin to cringe here when it rises above 30. Your food does look good, though!
