I used to love that stuff. And you've also reminded me I used to love Turkish Delight when I was a kid - it used to be my dad's favourite. I think the theme of all Christmas trees should be the story of Christmases gone by, with all the homemade decorations and inherited baubles and stuff made at school. Mine is definitely covered in stuff of varying quality (!) but lots of memories. It's not the pretties, but hanging up the decorations always makes me smile!Joeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17066424084187434409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-7990836133966302772018-12-21T13:32:11.756+11:002018-12-21T13:32:11.756+11:00Your Rocky Road looks great! The cake stall treats look delicious. I love this time of year.Cakelawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17205068748520541380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-44996791902809740372018-12-21T02:40:57.480+11:002018-12-21T02:40:57.480+11:00Oh the cherry ripe in the rocky roads sounds delic...Oh the cherry ripe in the rocky roads sounds delicious. I have had this one bookmarked for a while, but not got round to making it yet. https://bitofthegoodstuff.com/2014/08/rocky-road-vegan-style/ <br />Our Christmas tree is very much like yours -no theme, just a higgledy piggledy eclectic collection of memories of years gone together. Like you I also did not have a exciting Christmas lunch, quite disappointing really compared to the meat eaters, but hey ho I guess I can make up for it at home. Last year for our group we all brought lunch and it was wonderful - this year we had a group lunch at the pub which was great fun! Generally catered lunches at work are really good - but this place seemed to have missed the memo that the 1970s had moved on!Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-55712959445118571972018-12-20T05:05:56.204+11:002018-12-20T05:05:56.204+11:00Cookies. I've attended probably a dozen potlucks during these last few weeks LOL. Merry Christmas to you all!Nupurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03890441057480820053noreply@blogger.com
