I'm glad you made these vegan, so now I don't have to veganise the recipe when I make them at home (assuming there's passionfruit to be found in the supermarket). The comment about the being at the start of a disaster movie feels so apt right now.Joeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17066424084187434409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-33693081457169116882020-03-30T23:37:54.549+11:002020-03-30T23:37:54.549+11:00Passionfruit is one of my favorite flavors but it&...Passionfruit is one of my favorite flavors but it's never available where we live -- not the fruit, not the pulp, not the syrup... nothing. That is of course a minor gap when you see what's missing now! We knew we were spoiled but never really had to face it.

Be Well... mae at maefood.blogspot.comMae Travelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13328946930935633113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-82007899908565147602020-03-30T20:44:05.518+11:002020-03-30T20:44:05.518+11:00Thanks for sharing, home baking really is the best...Thanks for sharing, home baking really is the best! I do find myself staring into the fridge or cupboard sometimes wondering what I should "save for a worse time".. I swing between optimism that we are all gonna do OK and feeling like I'll run out of flour to bake my sourdough...dreams of sourdoughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09278295694375268244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-6168319367756336162020-03-30T05:31:02.483+11:002020-03-30T05:31:02.483+11:00The first sentence of your post sent a shiver down...The first sentence of your post sent a shiver down my back. Yes, likely in the US things are about to get worse. Like you, I too am making the best of what I have in my fridge and when it all runs out, I will venture out for food. So far grocery stores are open here. Life is so surreal right now. MY craving has been for salad leaves! Good to make muffins from salvaged fruit - they look good. Surprisingly or unsurprisingly I too have found time to do some baking with what we have in the house - indeed comforting. My brother send me a couple of funny corvid19 songs to cheer me up, but i had not heard the Torn one and it did me chuckle esp the bok choy line! Like your list. I am off to listen to My wandering days are over by Belle and Sebastian.Shaheenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03602971207085826708noreply@blogger.com
