The groceries are much more fun than the cafe at Ikea - and going to Ikea about three weeks running is no fun - we ended up buying the lamp at another shop altogether once I started to not need a thing in Ikea and find it very boring! But I could have bought more groceries there :-)Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-25327689684784361852014-02-02T23:26:36.749+11:002014-02-02T23:26:36.749+11:00Thanks Louise - I would love to have a regular caf...Thanks Louise - I would love to have a regular cafe where they know me - we had one locally where we went occasionally but haven't been for ages because our weekend activities changed - I went again just last week and felt quite guilty when we went in. I think I most like the sound of your Cibi tofu meal but am glad Sylvia has had some ice cream enjoyment and I like the idea of a knife sharpening shop that does food too. Like you, Ikea cafe food doesn't really appeal to me much (although I loved it as a child!) but it is always remarkably cheap and their groceries are entertaining.Karihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15887621874869110597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-26071504828132533562014-02-01T13:29:56.362+11:002014-02-01T13:29:56.362+11:00I'm such a boring eat outer, lol...I rarely ve...I'm such a boring eat outer, lol...I rarely venture out to eat anything except breakfast every morning. It is always at the local "diner," which isn't a diner at all really but a local place for farmers. I have the same exact breakfast every morning so the people who work there just call it my "usual." I really need to venture out more:) It sure does sound like you have quite a selection in your neck of the woods, Johanna. Perhaps if there were more choices locally I too would broaden my taste buds:)

Thank you so much for sharing, Johanna...~~louise~~https://www.blogger.com/profile/07335196139849995706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-40079933892127854462014-02-01T11:43:55.821+11:002014-02-01T11:43:55.821+11:00Really, the moral of the story is warm cake > c...Really, the moral of the story is warm cake > cold cake.Hannahhttp://wayfaringchocolate.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-41256830511367525732014-02-01T08:15:36.757+11:002014-02-01T08:15:36.757+11:00Such a fun collection of eats - thanks for sharing...Such a fun collection of eats - thanks for sharing.Cakelawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17205068748520541380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-47003571354982621492014-02-01T07:34:15.763+11:002014-02-01T07:34:15.763+11:00You've got some great veg options near you it ...You've got some great veg options near you it seems! That "yum cha" sounds especially good. Is yum cha the same as dim sum? We used to often go for dim sum on Sundays as a family when I was growing up. I also use VeganSprout.com for cookbook recipes before I blog about them (if I ever do)... This way I feel like I have captured their experience on me without dedicating a blog post... But to be fair, I love reading unbloggable catchup posts the most, methinks. Here's to reducing blog backlog! :)janet @ the taste spacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07139453817267734357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-91738328803919974832014-02-01T00:04:21.153+11:002014-02-01T00:04:21.153+11:00some great looking stuff there, I'll have to c...some great looking stuff there, I'll have to check out Salsas to see if they can make that bowl minus dairy.
