I didn’t know Australia had one like this…that’s pretty interesting! I also like watching shows and movies with some medieval history and historic castles, too. Me too, I would rather see a female knight doing some actions ;) not just a male knight! What a choice for E - a torture museum?! I would rather do crafting just like Sylvia! rika@vmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08901767751926870086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-63734535922083807902014-04-30T12:19:18.174+10:002014-04-30T12:19:18.174+10:00Thanks Joanne - interesting to hear it is not just...Thanks Joanne - interesting to hear it is not just us with these odd Medieval adventure parks! Am glad they kept it open to the general public, albeit at a price.Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-23708769727304639022014-04-30T12:13:56.351+10:002014-04-30T12:13:56.351+10:00Thanks Kari - I actually was pleased there was a f...Thanks Kari - I actually was pleased there was a female knight - might not be so historically accurate but I think it is a good role model for little girls. Yes the prices are steep but none of these big attractions are cheap - I guess they invest a lot of money in upkeep etcJohanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-44988229399777755482014-04-30T12:12:25.472+10:002014-04-30T12:12:25.472+10:00Thanks Veganopoulous - (too early in the maze!!!!!...Thanks Veganopoulous - (too early in the maze!!!!! - were you made to spend time in the stocks????) when we left I felt it was more fun than educational especially compared to nearby sovereign hill but I notice they have a section on educational programs and I can see that it would be as close as any places you could go around here - though I did have a friend tell me about a medieval group in northern nsw where they have a round house. I am sure it would be a fun way for he kids to learn.Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-24269948003981548392014-04-30T12:09:12.949+10:002014-04-30T12:09:12.949+10:00Thanks Caeli - funny that quite a few people have ...Thanks Caeli - funny that quite a few people have mentioned the raves - I just remember them talking about turning it into a brothel which seemed really weird.Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-7535330524312509152014-04-29T22:41:34.379+10:002014-04-29T22:41:34.379+10:00Such a fun family outing! The price is a bit horrifying, but I guess that is typical of Australian attractions these days. I went there too in primary school and there was this big window display near the entrance with a skeleton at a pianola. I remember the hanging display and I got in trouble for going in the maze too early. We're thinking of staying overnight, the kids will probably have a ball and the grown ups will cringe a lot but tacky makes me laugh. It has to be good-tacky though, not bad-cringe-tacky like the Logies.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-24856352509807818422014-04-28T22:50:48.504+10:002014-04-28T22:50:48.504+10:00Wow, it sure has had a facelift! I hear they used to have crazy rave parties there...hmmm! Looks much more family friendly now, I'm glad you had a fun day there :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
