I always like to make it with left over baked potatoes. The skin crisps up nicely and adds a lovely extra texture! xGluten Free Alchemisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14599801401879799252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-60057183448241693552016-05-24T11:27:01.046+10:002016-05-24T11:27:01.046+10:00Thanks Kat - it is comfort in a pie isn't it!Thanks Kat - it is comfort in a pie isn't it!Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-89930207236394283282016-05-24T11:25:58.255+10:002016-05-24T11:25:58.255+10:00Thanks Lisa - I had thought it had spinach in it s...Thanks Lisa - I had thought it had spinach in it so was not that clear on the contents eitherJohanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-28626921639442283372016-05-24T11:25:21.063+10:002016-05-24T11:25:21.063+10:00Thanks Charlotte - I probably didn't need the ...Thanks Charlotte - I probably didn't need the heart tins as I do so few pies but sometimes shopping with kids just encourages whimsical purchases :-)Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-58679450383151114352016-05-24T11:24:37.630+10:002016-05-24T11:24:37.630+10:00Thanks Cakelaw - it is the sort of thing I would s...Thanks Cakelaw - it is the sort of thing I would see in old fashioned veg cafes and cookbooks but not sure I have had one beforeJohanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-71145128883564107852016-05-24T11:24:03.796+10:002016-05-24T11:24:03.796+10:00Thanks VegHog - I think it is a common combination...Thanks VegHog - I think it is a common combination so we have probably all had it in some form if not in homity pieJohanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-81870956354653375342016-05-24T11:23:28.035+10:002016-05-24T11:23:28.035+10:00Thanks Kari - I get homity pie and hunza pie confu...Thanks Kari - I get homity pie and hunza pie confused - love the cute names but they don't help remember what is in them Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-87774439064544862532016-05-24T11:22:48.523+10:002016-05-24T11:22:48.523+10:00Thanks Amie - I hope you enjoy thisThanks Amie - I hope you enjoy thisJohanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-78202818657374334482016-05-24T11:22:29.794+10:002016-05-24T11:22:29.794+10:00Thanks Lorraine - I am reading a book that had a g...Thanks Lorraine - I am reading a book that had a great line that those whose kids sleep easily think they have done everything right and if everyone did it that would be fine but really all kids are different. I'm sure Sylvia will soon be back into the groove of things. It's great that she came back after calming down to eat at least half the pie.

I really don't know how you keep up with all that you do. It is always nice when kind words are given when someone enters your home and finds you baking:) You even went a step further and made individual cute pies. I would probably "dump" everything into one pastry shell and hope for the best, lol...

Thank you so much for sharing, Johanna...~~louise~~https://www.blogger.com/profile/07335196139849995706noreply@blogger.com
