Coles does seem to excite the kids more with giveaways but I think Woolies has given it more thought with regards to sustainability. Though I really could do without it all cluttering the house but Sylvia still loves to play with hers even though the giveaways are over. I am surprised Sylvia is still making slime - she has had a few go off as they have been around a few months but seems to find it quite a zen thing to play with.Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-89099933279263762342019-04-10T23:35:51.127+10:002019-04-10T23:35:51.127+10:00Thanks Sherry - your help with the linky is much a...Thanks Sherry - your help with the linky is much appreciated - yes that cactus is very cute - though finding a place for it is not so much fun - and the slime is quite fascinating. Sylvia can't wait for the pinata to be opened - if she had had her way it would be been smashed as soon as she brought it home.Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-31164869547663335652019-04-10T23:34:03.421+10:002019-04-10T23:34:03.421+10:00Thanks Mae - Sylvia had a corner for slime as well...Thanks Mae - Sylvia had a corner for slime as well as trays and jars that are earmarked for slime - I try to keep it separate from the food. I know quite a few families who ban all slime from the house because it is not good on clothes or the couch but Sylvia knows she needs to be careful or it will be banned in our house.Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-4132295513410847982019-04-10T23:30:35.630+10:002019-04-10T23:30:35.630+10:00Thanks Shaheen - yes sylvia loves haloumi and has ...Thanks Shaheen - yes sylvia loves haloumi and has experimented with lemon and honey with it. I would recommend the cookies with beetroot and have bought them a few times because they are great work snacks. I know the pencil toppers you remember. I have posted my first fondant cupcakes. I don't do terribly fancy cakes - and now that Sylvia is keen to help, this is a good thing.Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-67722482986509333242019-04-06T17:15:58.869+11:002019-04-06T17:15:58.869+11:00Those tomato tins look lovely and bright. It's great that Sylvia has been expanding her food options, I live in hope that eventually my children will accept the new foods I continually offer them. Slime seems to be the latest 'thing' doesn't it? I'd hoped to avoid it but the appeals seems quite long lasted! We have fallen into both the Stikeez and Tile traps, thanks in a large part to my colleagues who collect them for my children since theirs are grown. My preference is for Woolies paraphernalia, but alas, the Coles plastic fruit and veg do seem the clear winner. Happy April!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07790788516788938079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-854262115114666072019-04-05T18:07:05.724+11:002019-04-05T18:07:05.724+11:00thanks for joining us at IMK land johanna. Does the slime have to stay contained in food-worthy vessels or can it go outside or into other rooms in the house? With butter in it, I guess it's not ok on fabrics! All your other cool new things are much less dramatic than slime, but do look very good (and sometimes also useful).

best... mae at maefood.blogspot.comMae Travelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13328946930935633113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-10035461800754004392019-04-02T06:11:35.953+11:002019-04-02T06:11:35.953+11:00 I remember admiring those tomato tins before on y... I remember admiring those tomato tins before on your blog nice to see the selection. Those Cookies with Beetroot intrigue me. So pleased Sylvia is trying new foods and taken to halloumi, one of my favourites too. Ah you bring back memories with those fruit toppers, I used to collect them when I was small esp. as pencil toppers. The fondant tools look very interesting. I would like to get better at making my kids' birthday cakes and have to work on my decorating skills. Interested to see what you make with them :)Nupurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03890441057480820053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-49647307359063023672019-04-01T22:04:39.752+11:002019-04-01T22:04:39.752+11:00This green jar look great! This green jar look great!ClaudiaMorningstarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01051555734831126440noreply@blogger.com
