I will have to give roasted cabbage a try. Heck, I love roasted cauliflower and it's in the same plant family. Wonder why I didn't think of it!Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08905941936153424623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-87881379459375161712010-04-01T04:24:23.703+11:002010-04-01T04:24:23.703+11:00It never occurred to me to roast cabbage! This is giving me another idea, with the core in tact I should be able to put cabbage slabs on the grill. I do hope to get the grill out this weekend (finally spring here) and I'll try it out!Sarah S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04757033974893707436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-19796722984228016972010-04-01T04:20:22.854+11:002010-04-01T04:20:22.854+11:00Sounds like a wonderful dinner! And I'm sure that I used to find bacon appealing for the smokiness, not the pigginess, too! ;)Rickihttp://dietdessertndogs.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-17216293149598523372010-04-01T04:11:02.914+11:002010-04-01T04:11:02.914+11:00I adore the flavour of smoked tofu (although I am ...I adore the flavour of smoked tofu (although I am not a fan of bacon), and think your additioning marinade seasoning could well enable me to sneak some into meals with/for my parents once I return home. I also love the roasted cabbage idea, as I'me yet to find a cabbage preparation I don't like!
