I think Sylvia was v proud that she could flip the fritters. I look forward to the day she can make pancakes herself - though I probably need to teach her to clean up after herself first :-)Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-81389283844866149402016-05-14T22:32:37.422+10:002016-05-14T22:32:37.422+10:00Thanks Lorraine - in a way it is better she is sti...Thanks Lorraine - in a way it is better she is still allergic after the long wait because I would be annoyed if I spent an unnecessary 2.5 years avoiding peanuts but still it is a long timeJohanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-21858774851067204382016-05-14T22:31:50.590+10:002016-05-14T22:31:50.590+10:00Thanks Faye - yes I was told to return when she is...Thanks Faye - yes I was told to return when she is in grade 6 for retesting and I feel like putting her name down now to get her there when she is in grade 6 rather than year 12Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-25790009214229978612016-05-14T22:31:00.113+10:002016-05-14T22:31:00.113+10:00Thanks Lisa - we are pretty much used to it but it...Thanks Lisa - we are pretty much used to it but it would be nice not to have to look out for peanuts even if she swears she does not want to eat themJohanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-20066445612104321772016-05-14T22:30:20.498+10:002016-05-14T22:30:20.498+10:00Thanks Kari - I also need to give her brazil nuts ...Thanks Kari - I also need to give her brazil nuts which I don't usually use so need to think about that. I'm so glad to hear that Sylvia is so comfortable in the kitchen that she can flip pancakes with the best of them, lol(you and your mom) I "feel" a Sylvia cooks post in the future, lol...

Thanks for sharing, Johanna...~~louise~~https://www.blogger.com/profile/07335196139849995706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6742756814967464811.post-33412635528005916972016-05-11T02:00:28.772+10:002016-05-11T02:00:28.772+10:00Wow that is a long time to wait for an allergy tes...Wow that is a long time to wait for an allergy test! What a shame Sylvia hasn't outgrown the allergy now but at least you have some inspiration to use interesting nuts like macadamias (they're one I forget / neglect). I get frustrated by muffins with uncooked centres and/or sticking-to-paper edges but often they still taste good and these sound delicious. Happy Mother's Day for yesterday.Karihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15887621874869110597noreply@blogger.com
